Orange Pudding Recipe
If you love oranges, then this Orange Pudding is definitely for you. Its myriad flavours steeped in the taste and tang of oranges can be enjoyed during festivals as well as birthdays and anniversaries. With ingredients like hung curd, fresh cream, and cointreau, orange pudding is indeed a treat. This quick-to-make dessert is bound to please and impress one and all. So, do try and enjoy this enticing dish. Beware though, it can be quite addictive.
All you need is-
- 350 gm fresh cream
- 1 cup hung curd
- 3 tablespoon sugar
- 100 ml orange juice
- 2 tablespoon cointreu
- 250 gm sponge cake
- orange segments as required
HOW TO PREPARE
Step 1 Mix Cream And Hung Curd Along With Orange Juice
To make orange pudding, mix cream and hung curd together in a bowl. Next, add sugar, orange juice, and Cointreau (orange flavoured liqueur) into this bowl and mix well.
Step 2 Cut Sponge Cake And Add Layer Of Cream
Take the sponge cake and cut it into slices. Layer these sliced pieces in a shallow serving dish. Cover them with a layer of the cream and curd mixture. Keep on repeating the layers of sponge cake and curd and cream mixture, with the final layer of cream on the top.
Step 3 Refrigerate For 4 Hours
Place this dish in the refrigerator and freeze it for 4 hours.
Step 4 Serve With A Garnish Of Orange Segments
Your homemade orange pudding is ready. Serve the orange pudding with a garnish of orange segments.
