All you need is-

  • 2 1/2 cup rice
  • salt as required
  • 3 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 4 cup water
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon chopped lemongrass stock
  • 4 clove garlic
  • 4 inch grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon lime zest
  • 2 onion
  • 4 green chilli
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon worcestshire sauce
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon butter
  • 5 coriander leaves
  • 2 bunch chopped green onion

All you need is-

Step 1 

To prepare this delicious main dish recipe, clean the rice and soak it for 20 minutes. Keep it aside. Put the lemongrass stalks in the cooker after washing and rinsing them properly. Water should be double the quantity of rice. Add few drops of vegetable oil to it.

Step 2

Add salt as per your taste along with onion, garlic, ginger, butter, green chilli, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce and cook for about 10 minutes over medium-low heat. Add some more water and cook it for extra 2 minutes, if you wish to keep it sticky.

Step 3 

Once the rice is cooked remove the outer covering of the lemongrass stalks. Switch off the flame and garnish them with green onions.

Step 4 

Serve hot with some raita and gravy, enjoy!
