Raw Banana Nut Bars

Raw Banana Nut Bars are a healthy breakfast recipe that can be served with a glass of fresh juice to kick start the day. Made with a raw bananas, cashew nuts, oats, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon and coconut flour, this Continental recipe can provide the much needed energy post a rigorous workout and is quite delicious. This sweet delight also doubles up as a snack recipe and is a favorite among the kids. Since its a Vegan recipe, it can be savored by those who like gluten-free food items. Occasions like potlucks, picnics, kitty parties or game nights are perfect to relish these lip-smacking bars and will surely leave everyone craving for more.

All you need is-

4 banana

4 tablespoon vanilla protein powder

1/2 cup cashews

4 tablespoon coconut flour

2 tablespoon water

2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 tablespoon sugar

1/2 cup oats

HOW TO PREPARE 

To prepare this breakfast recipe slice the bananas and add them in a large bowl. Now, add oats and cashews in a grinder jar and grind them coarsely. Using a spatula, mash the banana and add the ground mixture, vanilla protein powder, coconut flour, water, vanilla extract, cinnamon and sugar to it. Mix it well so that all the ingredients are combined. If needed, add 2 tablespoon of water to it. Mix it again and make sure you get a sticky mixture.

Now, spread a cookie sheet and transfer the mixture onto it. Roll out the mixture thickly and place this in fridge. Let it set. Once it hardens, cut out small bars and serve it immediately or store it in a glass jar for later consumption!

Sugar Free Dryfruit Ladoo

Sugar Free Dry Fruit Ladoo is a vegetarian dessert recipe that is sure to bring a huge smile on the faces of diabetics. This North Indian recipe is made with dry fruits like walnuts, almonds, cashews, peanuts and raisins, thus standing fair on health grounds too. Easy to prepare at home, this sweet dish can be enjoyed on several festivities or occasions like kitty parties, picnic or road trips in order to beat the sudden hunger pangs. So try making this sumptuous dessert recipe at your house over the weekend and we are sure it will be prepared on a regular rotation and will be a family favorite. 

All you need is-

1 cup almonds

1/2 cup walnuts

51 cup cashews

1 cup raw peanuts

1 cup raisins

1 1/2 cup dried dates

poppy seeds as required

1 cup oats

1/2 cup ghee

1 cup coconut

1/2 cup pistachios

HOW TO PREPARE 

Dry roast the Dryfruits and nuts

Place a pan over medium flame and once it’s hot enough, dry roast walnuts, pistachios, coconut slices, peanuts, raisins, cashews and dried dates for a few seconds. Remove from the flame now and pour them in a grinder jar. Grind it on a high speed and form a coarse powder out of it.

Toss the oats and poppy seeds

Turn on the flame and pour ghee in the same pan over medium flame. Once the ghee is hot enough, pour this powder in it along with oats and poppy seeds. Saute for a few minutes over medium flame till you have lumps formed from this mixture.

Make the ladoos and relish

Turn off the flame, now and keep it aside. Let the mixture cool down. After sometime, start making medium sized balls out of this mixture and store in an air tight container. Your sugar free dry fruit ladoo are now ready.
