All of these Craft Breweries make Gurgaon proud!

Gurgaon or Gururam, in quite short time has emerged as one of the most popular party destinations for youngsters. People travel all the way from Delhi and Noida to Gurgaon because the destination is home to some mind blowing nightclubs and bars offering delicious food, amazing booze and a live entertainment. The nightlife in Gurgaon is absolute hip, vibrant and jazzy with myriad interesting options. For those who enjoy some home brewed beer, Gurgaon is the perfect place for them as the destination is dotted with micro breweries which have earned a name for themselves over the years. So this weekend if you are in Gurgaon do make sure you visit Vapour, which is popular amongst youngsters for its wide range of beer or go to the Manhattan Craft Brewery where guests get an option of trying their beer before ordering one. Sounds fun right? So here are some of those micro-breweries in Gurgaon that promise fresh brews, lip smacking munchies and an overall good time. Breweries that make Gurgaon proud! Go explore.

Nestled inside the MGF Megacity Mall in Gurgaon, this watering hole is immensely popular for their variety of beer, plush ambience and sumptuous eats. Their very own dark and premium brews are the most popular beers here and one has the option of ordering for them in pitchers (if you have the belly for it). Their beer cocktails or beer-tails change every month and are refreshingly innovative. While their side bite order of ‘nuts and beans masala’ is a super hit, their Chinese chicken starters are unobjectionable. Like many other breweries in the city, their main course may not get any mentions in food awards but for those with a sweet tooth, their Chocolate Marble Cake and a Chocolate Velvet Cake will have you licking your fingers. If you want your personal space, you could request for the luxurious private dining room that has an LCD TV too. But the most popular area in this brewery is undoubtedly the rooftop terrace where getting a table may be a bit tricky unless you call and book one in advance.

Manhattan Craft Brewery

This one’s an expat favourite which could be packed even on a Monday night. Guests here have the option of sampling their in-house brews before ordering which makes it safer to not get something you won’t enjoy. A popular favourite is the German wheat beer which is smooth and full-bodied. If you want a light bite, the chicken salad is a decent order but if you have the appetite, their Galauti Kebabs and other tandoori delicacies are praise-worthy. Their performance area is occupied by live bands on certain days, for the rest, their resident DJ mans the console spinning everything from retro to rock. Fancy showing off your boxing skills on the Xbox? Connected to a large screen, the gaming console is available for guests who prefer a match or two after a few rounds of drinks.

Striker Pub and Brewery

One of the most sought-after microbreweries in the city, this one has a rocking venue for live gigs as well. Their in-house pilsner is a good brew to pick from and if you’re in the mood for cocktails, their Bloody Mary, Tequila Sunrise, Cosmopolitan and Mojito are all mixed just fine. Among quick bites, decent orders include their sweet chilli potato, prawns with pepper and salt and chicken strips with ranch dressing. If you’re up for something heavier, surely try their Lamb Galauti Kathi Roll. The only downside here would be the fact that it gets extremely crowded on weekends and it’s practically impossible to find a table or even enough place to stand about.
