As the new guidelines have come for the unlock plan, that will begin from August 3.
There are a few more relaxation that the government of India have now considered. The relaxations of unlocking 3 include reopening of cinema halls and gyms. Along with strict restrictions, the centre has taken this decision to open fitness centres. As of now, schools and colleges will operate as usual from online mode, at least for the month of August.
If you are gearing up and getting all ready for the reopening of gyms and fitness centres as soon as the restrictions are lifted, then you might need to stop right there. We have to understand that due to different concerns centre is lifting the restrictions slowly and gradually, but the pandemic is still here and equally dangerous. As you brace yourselves to hit the gyms and fitness centres, here are a few precautions that you must keep in mind while you hit the gym to keep yourself and your family safe from the novel coronavirus.

Make sure that you always show up to the gym class and the allotted time as gone are the days when you used to rush through the gym door at the last moment, as now you have to make sure that you are not running into people at all. If you see a beeline at the entrance, then don’t hover into the entrance door and ait somewhere at a safe distance.
Make sure you do no more use the disposable cups and the common water cooler of the gym. You must carry your won bottle from now. To avoid contraction of the infection lockers and washrooms will most likely remain closed. So come fully prepared from your home itself for your gym session.
We can not go light on sanitizing. If you are not wearing any band gloves and you are handling your gym equipment, then make sure that you are sanitizing every now and then. Or you can also wear gym gloves, this way you will remember that you do not have to touch your face while working out.

Also, to contain the virus and keep others safe, if you are sick, they are responsible and do not go to the gym. It is your responsibility as a human to keep your fellow humans safe as it can be a matter of someone’s life and death. If you have a nagging cough, fever or you have recently lost the power of smell or taste, it is best advised to consult a doctor at the earliest.
Do not forget the golden rule of social distancing, and it is surely applicable even while you sweat. Always remember that pandemic is still looming large and hence you have you ensure the distance of at least 6 feet from others, even while you sweat.
For the face mask, everyone has their own concerns, and some may also feel dizziness and lightheadedness due to mask as it is in a way, acts as a barrier between your breathing and air. So the airflow is restricted when we use the mask. This may lead to an increase in your heart rate quickly, and you may get tired quickly. Moreover, you can also have a hard time catching breathe. Therefore, it is all up to you whether you want to put on a mask while exercising or not. For further assurance, you may seek the assistance of your healthcare advisor on this.
