After almost four months of repeat telecasts, The Kapil Sharma Show is set to air fresh episodes. And joining the comedy show as the first guest is the ‘man of the hour’ Sonu Sood. The Simmba actor spoke about being called the ‘messiah of migrant workers’ and what inspired him to launch ‘Pravasi Rojgar’, an app that helps migrant workers in finding a job. The weekend episodes started on a celebratory note as the cast and crew along with a few guests from an NGO celebrated Sonu Sood’s birthday on the sets.
As is evident, the episode will be on Sonu’s activities during the lockdown that turned him from a film actor into a real-life hero. The promos are already showing migrant workers sharing the way Sonu helped them in the moments of crisis through video-calling. Importantly, the Dabangg actor will also reveal what prompted him to start helping the migrant workers. It would be interesting to listen to the difficulties, the support, and the emotional ups and downs Sonu faced during this period.
The actor on his birthday offered jobs to more than 3,00,000 migrant workers.
Even then, there will be a few questions on it as is evident from one of the latest promos of The Kapil Sharma Show. In this short video-clip, Kapil Sharma, in his usual style, asks a few questions. He asks, “Aap Janta ki jo sewa kar rahe hai uske baad, aapko itni saari jo duwayein mil rahi hai toh Archanaji ka ye puchana hai ke uske baad aapko filmon ke jyada offer aa rahe hai ki chunav ladhne ke offer jyada aa rahe hai.
Kapil further says, “Agar aapko chunao ladhne hai toh jo filme hai woh inko de do, dola to inka jyada hi hoga aapse kam to nahi hain. ” Sonu does not answer this rumor but cannot help from laughing. The clip reveals a few more such questions that Kapil asks that are funny enough to bring smiles on the faces of everyone around.
Similarly, at one point in time, Kapil asks Sonu whether similar to the actor whether his son is also a big fan of Sylvester Stallone or he has some other ideal. At this instance, Sonu cheekily says, “Woh toh thik hai par chhota sa sawal yeh hai ki aapne do baar Sylvester Stallone ekdam sahi kaise bola paaji.”
Further, Kapil asks Sonu whether he wrote the famous dialogue ‘Hum Tum Mein Itne Ched Karenge…,. Sonu Sood says,” Yes, it’s true. I remember, we were shooting in Filmalaya and it was our first day, after the song Munni Badnam. I have an interest in writing dialogues and the directors who I’ve worked with know my penchant for writing. Abhinav is a good friend, and we keep exploring a lot in writing.
Sood further says, “During this, the idea for this dialogue came about, and Abhinav and I moulded it together, and that’s how ‘Hum Tum Mein Itne Ched Karenge, came about. And when Salman Bhai heard it, he said to Abhinav that “Yeh Dialogue Badaa Kamaal Hai. But, Bhulnaa Mat Kisney Likhaa Hai.” The actor further adds that he also wrote the famous dialogue of Chedi Singh, ‘Kanoon Key Haat Aur Chedi Singh Ki Laat, Dono Bahot Lambhi Hai Bhaiyaa.’
So the upcoming episode of the show will be full of the usual comedy and fun but will also have some emotional moments. The Kapil Sharma Show’s first episode post lockdown will air on Sony Television on August 1 at 9.30 pm.
